The coolest and by far the most under-utilized feature of your Gmail account is the “+” email alias feature.
You can add a “+” between your username and the “@” to instantly create a new alias for your email address. For example, nomadjacob+007alias@gmail.com will still go to my nomadjacob@gmail.com email address.
You can then set-up filters to separate all the emails sent to that alias from the rest of your account. Go into settings, select Filters and Blocked Addresses, select add new filter, enter your alias email address in the to field, click create filter with this search, select apply the label -> new label, and type in your label name to have all the alias emails sent to that section in your account.
